GAMMA RAY Line Up European Tour, Ask Fans To Choose Set List
June 30, 2002GAMMA RAY have announced a series of eight shows in Europe in October and November under the banner of The Skeletons In The Closet Tour 2002. However, in a special gesture designed to satisfy the group's loyal devotees, the band have asked the fans to decide on the set list.
Mainman Kai Hansen stated about the move: "On all of our previous shows, we've played a mix of songs from a new album and the very obvious audience favorites, but this time we intend to play songs we've rarely, or never played live before, so we thought it might be kinda cool to give the fans the opportunity to decide on the set list themselves by voting on the web site for the more obscure songs they've repeatedly requested through the fan club and at gigs, hence the title Skeletons In The Closet. We'll be playing an extended set of what they want to hear!"
Fans interested in voting for their favorite songs are should e-mail their preferences to GAMMA RAY's official web site, and the songs to receive the most votes will be included in the group's the set list. 10 voters will be invited backstage at each show to hang out with the guys, and then have their photo taken which will be signed by the band and sent on to them.
